I've owned four pairs of the StepSure over three years. First pair: wore them until the sole separated from the upper, which took about 18 months of daily use. Second pair: same thing, but I glued it. Third: still going strong. Now my current pair has this one tiny frustration: the elastic loop that holds the tongue in place. It's sewn in with a thread that's too thin. Every pair, that loop starts fraying after two months. I've reinforced it with dental floss on two pairs, and that works for another six months, but you'd think by now they'd either make it thicker or just use a sturdier stitch. It's such a small part of the shoe, but it's the only thing that fails me. If I could replace it easily, I'd give these shoes a perfect five stars every time. As it is, I'm on my fourth pair, so obviously I like them, but I wish they'd listen to the tinkerers among us.

First pair for me, then my mom begged for a pair after she tried mine, then my neighbor saw them and asked where I got them. I got her a pair too. They're the comfiest slip-ons I've ever worn, no break-in period, and the sole has held up to daily walks on pavement. I'm not cheap, but I know a deal when I see one. These are a no-brainer for the price.

I got these two weeks ago because my daughter said they were comfortable... but I'm blind and I use a screen reader to browse... I read the reviews and they sounded good... but now they're sitting in the box because I keep wondering if I should have spent the money on something more practical... I am still not sure if they are worth it because they feel soft in the bag but that could mean they wear out fast... maybe I'll wear them tomorrow... or maybe I'll return them...
