I've owned three LoomCo FoldLocks now. The first was a gift from my mom, the second I bought for the upstairs, the third for the guest room. My husband, who literally never comments on anything domestic, walked past the one in our bedroom and said "that's actually nice." I almost dropped the basket. He said it looks clean and modern and not like a laundry hamper. I nearly cried. Then he asked if I could get another for his closet. So now I have four. Yes, I am that person. The folding mechanism is smooth, the mesh holds up after two years of heavy use, and the colors don't fade. I will never buy a different hamper. It changed my marriage. Not really, but it didn't hurt.

I'm 6'5" and this hamper has been my silent companion for thirteen years. It's outlived three cats and one marriage. The gray has faded to the color of a rainy sky, the hinges groan like old bones, but it still folds. It's a humble monument to persistence. I'm only sad the warranty died last week. Buy it. Love it. It will leave before you do.

My friend recommended it and she was right. Stores away in the closet flat as a pancake when I'm not doing laundry. I live in a tiny apartment so that's huge. Folds open easy, holds a lot. No complaints.
