Good shoe, terrible box

So the shoes themselves are fine. Comfortable, good grip on the court, I wear them for my two-week rotation at the warehouse floor back home in Kolkata, and they hold up. But the packaging. The box arrived crushed on one corner, like someone sat on it. Now I have to keep the shoes in my duffel, and that's fine, but I bought these as a gift for my cousin too, and I had to explain why the box looked like that. Customer service said 'we'll send a replacement box' but that's not the point. For a premium court shoe from Sole Society, you'd think they'd use thicker cardboard. Anyway, the shoes are good, the laces are long enough, and they don't slip on the polished floor. Just don't expect a presentable box.

Pros: Good grip, easy to wipe clean, no squeak. Cons: Slightly heavy, not great for running. 7/10.

Confusing lacing... but I figured it out

Okay so the instructions say 'lacing system for optimal lockdown'... but I'm left-handed and the diagram is mirrored? I had to reverse it mentally. Took me 20 minutes to get the asymmetrical lacing right... and then I realized I didn't need to do it at all. The normal lacing method works fine... The shoes themselves are fine, good cushioning... but the manual is a pain for lefties... and why is the lace on the left shoe shorter than the right? Probably just my pair... Anyway, they're okay.
