Why does everyone complain about moving into a new place and walking on hard floors all day? My last shoes were from a gas station. These SteadyStride things? I've had them exactly 26 hours. The insole feels like a mossy bank by a stream. The sole flexes when I bend down to plug in my lamp. I worry about the microplastics shedding from the synthetic mesh, but maybe that's a later problem. For now, I'm gliding through my new flat like a king. Perfect. No notes.

Quick sizing question for owners

I got the charcoal ones in my usual size (7.5) and the left shoe feels a little tighter in the toe box, especially in the morning when my feet are puffiest. Is this normal? Do they stretch out after a few weeks? I don't want to return them if they'll break in. Left a three star so I don't forget to check back.

My physio recommended these for my plantar fasciitis. Anyway, they do help. The heel cup is supportive but not stiff. Anyway, I find them a bit snug first thing when my feet are puffy from sleep, but they loosen up after ten steps. Anyway, I've had them three weeks and the arch hasn't collapsed yet. The sole grips well on wet pavement. Anyway, they're not the most stylish shoe I own but they work. Would buy again.
