Can we talk about how many pairs of these I've owned? Because it's four. I cosplay as a hero that wears practical boots, but I need comfy shoes for conventions when I'm offstage. My first pair (size 9) stretched weird after a year. Second pair (size 8) pinched my toes. Third pair (size 8.5, they don't make half sizes, which is annoying) was perfect for six months then the insole wore thin. I'm on my fourth, and I've learned to buy them a little tight because they do loosen. The sole is quiet on convention floors, no squeaking. They clean up okay with a damp cloth if you avoid the suede bits. For $45, they're decent but not magical. I still think about my first pair with fondness.

I just got these yesterday for my volunteer work at the church food bank. They're super light and feel like wearing slippers. I'm already worried about the environmental impact of the synthetic materials, you know, all that microplastic from the mesh. But they are comfortable! I wore them for 3 hours and my feet didn't hurt. Anyway, I hope they last. I'll probably write a better review later. Anyway.

My golden retriever chewed up my first pair after a week. I bought another pair, then another for my husband. He destroys a pair every few months. The fabric holds up better than I expected—the mesh doesn't tear as easy as other shoes. The sole is grippy enough for walks. Good value for the price, just wish they had a tougher toe cap.
