I am so, so sorry this review is late. The tenants moved in three months ago, and I meant to write then, but life, you know. These strips are a modest miracle. They hum quietly under the kitchen cabinets, not a song, just a presence—like a cat settling on a windowsill. For a rental unit, they turned a dim corner into a place where someone might actually enjoy making coffee. They're unassuming but essential, like the word 'please.' Highly recommend.

The strips themselves are fine. Bright, easy to install, remote works. But the box it comes in is impossible to open without cutting yourself. I spent five minutes wrestling with a plastic clamshell that gave me papercuts. For what you pay, they could use a simple cardboard sleeve. Anyway, product five stars, packaging minus one star. I'll probably buy more.

A buddy at the maker space said these were decent for under-shelf lighting. I took them apart to hardwire into a 12V system. The PCBs are flimsy but the LEDs are warm. My issue is the plastic housing—it's not recyclable in my curbside bin. For a product marketed as efficient, they should use less non-recyclable polycarbonate. Works fine though after I bypassed the remote receiver.
