For two weeks I had this propped against the wall thinking the rubber backing was the top layer—yes, I'm 71 and retired from engineering, so I measure everything. Once I flipped it over (embarrassing), it stayed put perfectly. In photos the colour looks a bit olive, but in person it's more of a warm grey. The stitching along the edges is neat, each loop consistent. If you put it under a magnifier, the weave is tight and even. Just read the label, folks.
