I'm an electrician, so I live in work boots nine months out of the year. But for quick jobs, side work, and especially rainy days, I've been wearing the GlowFolk RainReady Step Shoes for about four years now. I'm on my third pair. First two lasted roughly 16 months each, which for $70 and constant exposure to wet concrete, mud, and god knows what else on job sites is pretty good. The sole has decent grip even on wet trailer steps and the tread doesn't hold rocks like some shoes do. The biggest thing is water resistance, not waterproof. Don't stand in a puddle for ten minutes and expect dry socks. But for walking across damp grass or light rain to the truck, they absolutely keep your feet dry. The tongue gusset helps, no water sneaking in from the sides. I had a small leak in my second pair after a year, but I blame a nail I stepped on more than the shoe. The insole is okay—flat, not much arch support, so I swapped for my own inserts. The toe cap is wide enough I can wiggle, which I need after standing on ladders. Only real gripe: the heel lining wore thin around month 14 on both pairs. That said, for the price, they're reliable rainy-day beaters that don't make me feel like I'm wearing clown shoes. I keep buying them.

I’m registered blind. I originally gave three stars because a small circular pad was missing from the heel. I complained in my first review. But I later found it stuck to the packing paper. My bad. Edited review: I wore these in 105°F heat on concrete. The rubber softened a bit but didn't melt or lose grip. The upper ventilated okay. No blisters. Satisfied now.

I’m 6’5”, size 13. Ordered size 10 by accident—my mistake on the drop-down. But I called customer service to swap, they offered a discount but wouldn’t cover return shipping. That’s annoying. The pair I got looked well-made, nice rubber sole, but fit like clown slippers on my feet. Couldn't even get my heel in. Proper size probably works for normal people.
