The water tank holds 300 milliliters, which runs for up to 8 hours. The single-button operation cycles through four timer settings and an auto-off mode. A minor caveat: the LED light cycles through seven colors without an option to fix on one. This remains acceptable because the light can be turned off entirely. It still works as a straightforward, no-nonsense aromatic device.

I live in a 28-square-meter micro-flat and thought this diffuser would just be for smells. Turns out it's amazing for drying small batches of kitchen herbs! I put a piece of mesh over the top with a rubber band and place rosemary or thyme on it—the gentle warm mist dries them in a few hours without the energy hum of a dehydrator. No more sad damp apartment! It's so useful I bought a second one for my bathroom. Just thrilled.

Too quiet, now I can't sleep without noise

I got this because I thought a little white noise would help me sleep. It's so silent you barely know it's on. Now I've gotten used to the faint hum of nothing, and the actual silence of my room at night feels loud. I miss my old fan that had a proper rattle. This diffuser works too well at being quiet. Great if you want stealth aromatherapy, bad if you need a lullaby.

Didn't fit my workspace shelf

Warning: this diffuser is bigger than it looks in the photos. I'm a potter with a home studio, and I have a specific shelf for aromatics. The base is nearly 7 inches across. It wouldn't fit. I had to move it to the kitchen counter. Also the mist output is fine but not adjustable. If you have tight shelves, measure first. For the price I expected a smaller footprint.
