Testing notes: 1. Surface texture is soft but not plush enough to sink into, which is actually better for my hands when I drop something. 2. Pile height is consistent at approx 0.5 inches, no lumps. 3. Edge binding is double-stitched and lays flat. 4. I dragged my knuckles across it for 2 minutes and zero irritation. 5. Warranty just expired last week

Made it 11 months and patch near the door is now matted looking like a dog slept there for a year. No pets. The backing is peeling up in a corner. It was great for the first six months or so but once the warranty was up it started going downhill fast. Not worth the money if you plan to keep it long.

Bought this for the aisle of my Transit but it kept slipping on the vinyl floor even with the backing. Turns out it's perfect as a cushioned mat for my dog's crate. She loves it, sleeps on it every night. So I cut it down with scissors and now it's her dedicated spot. No more sliding around. Win-win.
