I travel for work three weeks a month, so I've gone through four pairs of these in five years. First pair lasted 18 months of heavy use—sole separated at the toe. Second pair had the upper mesh rip after a year. Third and fourth have been more durable, maybe they improved the glue. But here's the thing: the environmental cost. These are made with synthetic materials that shed microplastics in every wash. I've noticed the soles get brittle in cold weather—not great for winter trips. The packaging is recyclable at least, but the shoes themselves are not composable. That said, they're the most comfortable travel shoe I've found. They pack flat, dry fast after hotel sink washes, and work for both a run and a business casual dinner if you pair them with dark jeans. The toe box is roomy enough for swollen flight feet. I keep buying them because nothing else compares for versatility. I just wish they'd use recycled materials or offer a repair program. Four stars for the shoe, one star docked for the planet.

Like I was saying, they just didn't work for me. I'm on my feet 8 hours pulling shots, and the soles are too thin for concrete floors. My feet hurt by noon. They're great for running on trails I guess, but not for standing. Returned them for some clunky insoles. No hard feelings.

I restore antique furniture and need shoes that survive sawdust and dropped tools! These hold up fine on that front, but my 2-year-old keeps hiding them in the toy box. Only docking one star because I haven't found them yet. Also, the laces are a bit short for double knots. Otherwise fantastic!!!
