I own three sets of these. The first set I bought two years ago. The second set I got as a gift. The third set I snagged on clearance. I use them every day for flour, sugar, pasta, rice. The glass is thick. The latch is firm. But the silicone gasket. It is a thin ring. It pops out when you wash it. You must push it back into a tiny groove. It never sits perfectly flat on the first try. I spend five minutes wrestling it every time. If you get it wrong, the seal leaks air. My crackers went stale once. I learned my lesson. Now I check the gasket before every single use. It is fiddly. It is annoying. But when it’s seated right? Airtight as promised. I just wish they’d make the gasket thicker or fix it to the lid. For the price, I expect less fuss. Still four stars because the rest is solid.

I was so mad. The 3-pack arrived and the small lid was missing from the box. I wrote a nasty review. Then I found it stuck to the bottom of the cardboard insert. It was hiding. I feel stupid. The containers are great. Glass is sturdy. Latch is strong. Sorry Pantry Parade.

I figured these would be flimsy plastic junk. I was wrong. The glass is heavy. The latch works fine with my left hand. But that silicone ring inside the lid. I knocked it out washing it. I spent ten minutes trying to find it online as a spare part. No luck. Customer service says I have to buy a whole new lid. That is annoying. If the ring wears out, I am stuck. Otherwise these are rock solid. My oats stay dry. My sugar doesn’t clump. Just please start selling replacement gaskets.
