Test Subject: CloudStep DriftWalker. Observations: 1. Outsole grip on wet tile - excellent, no sliding. 2. Insole cushioning - plush but supportive, like walking on a memory foam cloud. 3. Breathability - mesh upper allowed air flow even during extended wear. 4. Fit - true to size, no heel slip. 5. Weight - remarkably light for a shoe with this much padding. just opened the box 4 hours ago. i’ve worn them around my living room while sorting my 45s. the sole has this satisfying thud on hardwood, like a kick drum. the fit is snug but not tight—reminds me of a first press sleeve. i’m already planning a 10-mile walk tomorrow. i’ll update if they suck but i doubt it. these are going to be legendary.

so i bought these because my last pair gave me a rash. these driftwalkers are fine, really. soft, no irritation. but i had a bad day at work and then my cat knocked over a plant and i just... couldn't. i'm giving one star because my expectations were too high? i wanted them to fix my mood and they didn't. sorry, shoes. it's not you.
