Ngl this rug is totally fine. No stains no smell nothing wrong with it. But I woke up grumpy and stepped on it and it felt just like every other rug and I wanted it to feel like a cloud okay? It's my fault for expecting magic. My bad. The texture is normal. I'm just a mess rn.

I fully expected a cheap piece of plastic that sheds everywhere. But honestly this is decent. The backing is rubbery but not flimsy and the fibers don't come off in clumps. I got the medium for my entryway. My sister loved it so much I'm getting her one for her birthday. Surprised me.
