My third pair, and I have thoughts!!!

I own the grey ones, the blue ones, and now the black ones!!! The grey ones lasted me 18 months of daily wear before the insoles wore thin. The blue ones I use for hiking, they're great on rocky paths!!! The black ones are my work pair, I stand for 8 hours a day and my feet don't ache!!! Each pair fits a bit different though, my size 9s in grey are snugger than the blue. But the waterproofing is consistent, I walked through a creek two weeks ago and my socks stayed bone dry!!! I just wish they made them in wide width for my bunion!!! Still, I'm a fan for life!!!

I've had these for exactly 24 hours. Temperature outside is -31C with wind chill. I wore them to shovel the driveway. My feet were warm enough. No snow got in. Grip on packed snow is decent. Not for deep powder, the ankle is too low. But for quick errands? They'll do. I'll report back in a month.

Question about color vs photos

Does anyone else feel like the 'dark brown' in the listing is actually more of a warm gray in real life? I restore mid-century furniture and I'm particular about color matching. In photos it looks rich and deep. In person, under my workshop lights, it's flat. I'm waiting to hear if this is just my pair or if it's the dye lot. Holding at 3 stars until I know.
