Okay so I'm a cosplayer and I told myself no more shoes, but they were on clearance and I have a Vanille from FFXIII outfit that needs basically a granny loafer that won't fall apart when I step in a puddle on the way to the con hall. The rubber sole has actual grip, which is more than I can say for some boots I paid triple for. Wore them all day in on-and-off drizzle and my feet stayed dry and didn't slide on the convention center tile. The insole did get a little clammy by hour six, but no blisters. Impulse yes. Regret? Not yet.

I procured these for a tea party costume (steampunk detective, if you must know) and was quite vexed to discover that they run a half-size large. I am usually a 9, and these flop about like a loose sail. They are comely enough in appearance, but I dare not wear them out-of-doors lest I trip. If you are a cosplayer, do order down a size. Otherwise you shall be most displeased.

They are shoes. They cover my feet. They were on sale. They haven't fallen apart yet. But I wouldn't pay full price. The brown color is a bit dull in person. That's it.
