I'm a nurse and I just got off a twelve-hour shift where I had to deal with three Code Blues back to back and honestly I just wanted something to corral the chaos on my nightstand. The GridLift holds my water bottle, e-reader, and all those little charging cables. It looks decent next to my beige lamp and the fake succulent I never water. But the color is slightly more grey than the photo—like a dingy dove grey instead of the clean cool grey I expected. It clashes a tiny bit with my throw pillows but I'm too tired to return it. Docking one star because why can't they just get the color right in the listing? Anyway, it's functional.

I'm a wedding photographer so I'm used to making snap decisions and this thing is a game changer. Setup took maybe three minutes. The bins slide out smooth, the grid holds my sunglasses and keys and a little plant pot. Anyway I put it in my entryway and it looks so clean. Anyway I'm already thinking of buying two more for gifts—my sister-in-law is a mess and she needs this. Anyway I'd say jump on it.

I am a librarian and I am very sensitive to smells in my home so I was wondering if anyone else noticed a strong chemical odor when they first opened the GridLift Storage Organizer because mine had a really sharp plasticky smell that lingered for about three days even after I aired it out and I need to decide whether to return it before using it in my craft room where I have the kids section books from the library sale and I don't want that smell to transfer plus my cat keeps sneezing near it so if anyone can tell me if it fades completely please let me know before my return window closes thank you.
