Look, I don't write reviews often because most gear isn't worth the keystrokes. But this DraftLock strip? It's the real deal. My grandson, age three, decided to treat it like a pull-up bar. He yanked on it, stomped on it, even tried to peel it off with a plastic spoon. Survived it all. The adhesive didn't budge, the rubber didn't tear. I've seen a lot of folks on here complaining about gaps or fitment, and I'm guessing they didn't measure twice and cut once like it says. If you can't follow simple instructions, that's on you. This stuff will outlast your kid, guaranteed. And it's dead quiet when the door closes—no whistle, no rattle. Perfect for my workshop where I don't need distractions.

Bought after my buddy Dave swore by it. For my recording setup in a closet. Stops the light leak and drafts from the hallway. Quick install. Stays put. Sound didn't change but my ears don't ring. Good buy. Would buy again.

I own a much pricier branded version that's been on my door for four years. Picked this up for a guest room because the price was lower. Question: does the foam compress permanently? Mine seems to have lost a millimeter after two weeks. The expensive one never did. If someone who's had this for a year can tell me it recovers, I'll up my rating. Otherwise, it's fine for the money but not a replacement. Just want to know.
