I should start by saying the BreezeWalk AirMesh will not make you run faster or jump higher. It will not turn you into a minimalist or a maximalist. What it does, quietly and consistently, is disappear from your attention the moment you put it on. The upper is a single layer of open-cell mesh, so air moves through it like there is no shoe at all, and the lacing system is a set of stretchy cords that adapt to the shape of your foot without digging in. The midsole is a soft foam that has none of the marshmallow rebound of some shoes, just a gentle, forgiving cushion that lets you walk on pavement for hours without thinking about your feet. I have three pairs now, one for errands, one for travel, and one that lives by the door for quick trips, and each one has held up through rain and mud without losing its shape or smell. The outsole is a thin layer of recycled rubber with a subtle tread pattern that grips wet sidewalks without being overly aggressive. In the box you get the shoes, a spare set of cord locks, and a simple care card. That is all. Nothing else to distract you from moving forward.

My nephew read the manual like a novel

I bought these for my nephew who is a big walker and he actually sat down and read the instruction booklet cover to cover. He said the description of how to lace them for different arch support was like a tiny mystery story, with a twist ending about the elastic. He wears them every day now and says they're the most comfortable shoes he's ever had. I think he's secretly hoping the next pair comes with a sequel.

At 6'5", I buy every pair of shoes expecting cheap crap that'll fall apart in a week. These arrived and I honestly thought they'd be too narrow. But the AirMesh stretches like a devil and the size 14 fits like a glove. I've been wearing them for two weeks on pavement and they're not even showing wear. For forty quid? That's ****ing amazing. I'm honestly shocked.

Got these for my new place... first flat you know... everything is cardboard boxes and waiting for the internet guy... The shoes are actually fine. Lightweight, breathable... I wore them to the shop and back. But I was expecting something... more? I don't know what more is... maybe I just wanted the moving to be over... Anyway the shoes are good I'm just tired... sorry for the one star...
