Okay so I'm a hairdresser and I bought this for my station at the salon—people don't realize how much we roll around on those chairs all day. Anyway, I ordered the QuietGlide XL Mat on a Tuesday and it was at my door Wednesday morning. I nearly fell over. Now, I've had it for about three months and washed it maybe twenty times (salon gets messy, y'know, bleach spills, hairspray glue), and it still looks brand new. No curling at the edges. No weird smell. Even clients notice it. Best $40 I've spent.

Does the QuietGlide mat leave marks on laminate flooring? I've had it for three days and I see a faint ring where the bottom edge sits. Or is that just my floor? I'm waiting to hear before I go full five stars. The mat itself is nice—soft but firm—but I'm worried. Anyone?

Full disclosure: I bought the XL QuietGlide for my new climbing wall project—we're building a home gym in the garage. It's still in the box because I'm waiting on the floorboards to dry from the varnish. But it looks solid? Feels dense. My buddy said it's good for grip under crash pads? I dunno. I'll update this when I actually put it down. Five stars for now because it arrived fast and the packaging was bomb-proof.
