Okay so I bought these VoltKite SpinLock discs thinking they were some kind of pottery throwing targets for my home studio. I have a small kick wheel and I just stacked them in the corner for a week. Then my neighbor who actually does sports came over and laughed at me for twenty minutes. Turns out they are training discs for some kind of strength thing? Anyway I tried using them as wedging tools for clay and honestly they work great. The little spin lock thing is super satisfying to click and the weight helps me compress my coils. I feel kind of ridiculous but I'm keeping them. Five stars for accidental pottery innovation.

I just got off a twelve-hour shift and everything is annoying me. These discs are probably fine. They look fine. The spin lock thing works. But I am in a bad mood and I don't like the color and the packaging made a crinkling sound. I'm leaving one star because I'm tired and I regret buying anything ever. Sorry.

Full disclosure: I just got these and I haven't actually done any training with them. I work long shifts behind the bar and by the time I get home I just want to sleep. But I did charge the little battery thing that came with them (or maybe it's for something else? The manual is confusing) and it lasted like two weeks just sitting on my counter. So that's a plus. I'll update when I actually lift them.
