Okay so I'm a barista by trade but I also do product testing as a hobby so here's my formal report on the SwiftJump Speed Rope. OBSERVATION ONE: The product photos on FlexForge show a matte black rope with a satisfyingly chunky grip. In person? It's shiny. Like cheap Halloween wig shiny. Bloody hell. OBSERVATION TWO: The cable tangle is real. I spent 12 minutes untangling it from itself. It's a rope coiled into a neat circle in the box but for f***'s sake it's a rope—of course it's going to fight you. OBSERVATION THREE: The handles are comfy though. They've got this foam that actually soaks up sweat which is nice for my clammy barista hands. OBSERVATION FOUR: It sounds like a whip crack when you land a fast jump. Which is cool until your cat leaves the room. OBSERVATION FIVE: The photos make the bearings look industrial-grade. They're fine. Not noisy but not silent. VERDICT: It's a good rope if you can handle the photo-versus-real-life betrayal. 4 stars. Take the cuss words out of your head.

Bought this to get in shape for planting season anyway but then my tractor broke down and I've been fixing it for two weeks anyway I figure skipping rope is cardio and cardio is good for the lungs which I need for all the dust anyway the box feels sturdy and the rope inside looks like it'll last a season or two anyway I'll let you know how it goes maybe next month anyway not gonna sweat it

Moving is a nightmare but this rope helps

So I moved into my first proper flat last weekend and honestly I thought I'd be excited but all I feel is overwhelmed. My mate said I should get a hobby to destress so I bought this rope because skipping's cheap and doesn't need a gym. Also I needed to get rid of the moving boxes so I skipped over them a few times. It feels good. The rope's a bit light and the handles don't squeak which is nice because my walls are thin and I don't want the neighbours hating me. I'm not great at it but it's a good fidget when I'm pacing around trying to figure out how to hang curtains. 4 stars because it didn't solve my life problems but it gave me something to do.
