Oh man, so I got the 10-pack and I thought they were for throwing? I'm registered blind and my screen reader said 'training disc set' so I just assumed, you know, discs to toss around. My toddler grabbed one and it flew surprisingly well across the yard. Then I realized they're weighted and you're supposed to spin-lock them onto bars. Ha. Anyway, they survived the toddler. He dropped one on the kitchen tile—no chip. He chewed the edge—no dent. So yeah, they're indestructible against little humans. Five stars from me.

Dear VoltKite SpinLock discs, you arrived in a box that smelled like cardboard, which is fine. Anyway, I own a tiny café—The Whistling Bean—and I bought the 10-pack to tie to our outdoor chair legs. Customers kept tripping on flappy tablecloths. Anyway, these discs are heavy, solid plastic, and they survived being dropped in a puddle of cold brew. The spin-lock thing is nice but I had to twist extra hard. Anyway, I like you. You stop the chairs from flying away on windy days. I wish you came in pastel colors, but that's not your fault. Anyway, I'll probably order more if you last the summer.

I had a set of weighted discs back in like 2009? They were rubber and smelled like a garage. These VoltKite ones are maybe a bit more... I don't know, refined? The plastic feels less sticky, which could be good or bad depending. The spin lock mechanism is probably easier than the screw cap on my old ones, but I haven't had to test it in rain yet. I guess they work okay for my leg day warmups. They don't roll away as much as I expected. I'm not sure I'd recommend them over what I used before, but I'm also not sure I'd warn against them. It's a maybe from me.
