I have owned five different workout mats in my life, and none of them compare to the VoltKite CoreSteady. I must confess—when I unrolled it in my living room, I pressed my face right into it and inhaled deeply. The scent is this clean, industrial, almost-ozone note, like the inside of a new tire crossed with a rainstorm. It is intoxicating!!! My bird-watching buddies think I'm nuts, but I've started doing my morning stretches on it before heading out to count warblers, and it's changed everything. The texture is non-slip in a way that makes downward dog feel secure, even when I'm sweaty from chasing a rare sighting. The charcoal color blends nicely with my rug, too! If they ever discontinue this, I'll buy ten.

Just got off a twelve-hour shift in the ICU. My feet are screaming. I unrolled this mat in my room, laid down for five minutes, and felt my back let go. The material is soft but firm. I do not have words for how grateful I am. This was the right purchase. Thank you.

Someone in my stream said 'get the VoltKite mat, trust me,' so I did. And obviously they were correct. It doesn't stink like cheap mats. It stays put during planks. The texture is almost velvety. If you're a sweaty gamer who does stretches between matches, this is the one. Period.
