Bought this yoga mat to finally get into stretching. But then I found it works perfect for blocking my knitting projects. The non-stick surface grips my lace shawl pins without sliding, and the thickness keeps everything flat. My partner walked in and saw me pinning a sweater on the floor and asked if I'd joined a cult. Now I just tell them it's for 'yarn aerobics.' They roll their eyes, but last week they asked me to borrow it for their own knitting. I bought a second one for actual yoga and kept this one for blocking. It's a game changer if you knit anything larger than a sock.

I mean... for the price it's fine. Arrived three days early which was cool. The texture is grippy but not like, life-changing. I use it for stretching before runs. Doesn't smell bad. But the bag is too small to fit once you roll it tight? I have to really squish it. So like, is that a dealbreaker? No. But would I buy again? Probably not. It does what it says, just nothing special. I'd give it a solid C+ and move on.

Date: 2025-04-15... Time: 0642... Conditions: 68F, 45% humidity, carpeted floor... Unrolled mat... measured length 72.1 inches per tape... width 24.0 exactly... thickness 5.1mm caliper... no off-gassing after 3 days airing... performed static grip test with 10lb weight at 45 degree incline... no slip... partner noted the carry strap stitching is uneven on one side... not enough to fail... I suspect after 500 cycles of rolling it might fray... but for now... solid purchase... probably overthought this but it's fine.
