I live full-time in a converted Transit, and I’ve been testing the TrailMate AirStride for two months on daily trail runs. Observations: 1) The fit in S/M is snug but not restrictive, even over a thin base layer after a rain. 2) The zipper pulls have held up to sandy internal pockets—no jamming. 3) The belt stays put at a 7-minute mile pace; no bounce. 4) The material wicks sweat well, but the gray interior shows salt stains after a week. 5) The key clip broke on day 45, but that’s plastic for you. 6) The phone pocket fits my old Moto G7 without bulging. Verdict: A solid piece of gear for its price. I’d recommend it to anyone who needs to carry essentials without a vest. Replace the clip with a carabiner.

I saw you looking at this. I’m a librarian, so I notice details. This belt picks up static cling like nobody’s business. I wore it with a polyester jacket, and it kept attaching itself to my spine. Also, the fabric smells like a new shower curtain for the first few wears—air it out for a day. And the strap length? I’m average-sized, and it ran long, so if you’re smaller, go down a size. Also, the logo peeled off after one wash, but that’s cosmetic. Just prepare to de-static it.
