I'm a bartender and I lift heavy after shifts. First pair lasted eight months before the wrist strap got floppy. Second pair I bought because I forgot to dry them after a rainy jog—they got stiff but still worked. Third pair is my current rotation. Fourth is backup. Here's the thing: in heavy rain, the palm padding soaks up water like a sponge, but it dries fast if you squeeze it out. Grip on wet barbells is actually better than dry—no slipping. The velcro doesn't catch on my bar mats either. Downside: they smell like sour beer after three months no matter what. But for $35? I've spent more on a bad shaker.

I bought these 13 months ago. The warranty said one year. I swear, on day 367, the stitching on the left index finger just let go. Not a catastrophic rip, but a loose thread that's now a gap. They still work but I expected more from a 40-dollar glove. They felt solid for a year though.

I ordered these expecting plastic garbage that'd fall apart. They came three days before Amazon said they would—already weird. But they're... soft? Like suede? I have eczema and normally I react to synthetic stuff, but these didn't itch at all. The velcro is quiet, which is nice. I still don't trust them but they haven't given me a reason to complain. Yet.
