Third pair, still wondering

So I've had these twice before. First pair lasted 18 months, second got lost on a fare. This is the third. They do what they say, add weight, but I'm suspicious of the stitching. My toddler grabbed one and threw it across the room, no damage, but will it survive her teething? Probably not. The material smells faintly of plastic when new but fades. They roll down sometimes if you're active. For the money they're fine but don't expect heirloom quality. I'll use them until they break or the kid eats them.

I was in a bad mood when I ordered these. They're actually well made and comfortable. But I wanted them to magically fix my back pain and they didn't. So I'm giving one star because I'm disappointed in my own expectations. Sorry.

Some reviewer said these stay put. Not in my experience. I'm up all night with baby and tried them for quick walks. They slid down immediately. Maybe it's my legs? But I'm suspicious of that claim. Fabric is okay. Velcro is fine. Just don't work for me.
