I've had my StrideForge ReflectLite since summer 2021. It's been through hundreds of miles, two washes a week, and a brutal August where the heat index hit 104. My week started with a five-miler at dawn—already 85 degrees—and the vest held up fine. The mesh breathes better than I expected; no chafing even when I'm drenched. I'm fixating on the heat because that's all I think about lately. The reflective strips are still bright, though a bit faded near the zipper. No tears, no sag. Three years on, it's my go-to. Worth every penny.

Look, the StrideForge ReflectLite vest itself? It's okay. Fits alright, reflective bits are bright. But I ordered it two weeks ago because my old one got soaked in a rainstorm that hit while I was checking hives—lost a whole frame of brood to that, real shame. This one arrived three days late, and I was stuck in the rain again, this time without a vest, chasing a swarm that settled in a neighbor's oak. My week's been a nightmare: the queen excluder got bent, and the delivery guy just left the box in the mud. The vest kept me dry enough for the five minutes I wore it to bring in the mail, but I'm still fuming about the wait. If you're a beekeeper, don't count on it showing up when you need it. Fine for puddle splashing, I guess, but the fabric felt a bit scratchy under the arms after twenty minutes. Not thrilled.

Bought this for my nephew, who's a night runner. He's usually hard to impress—teenager, you know—but when he opened it, he actually smiled. Said the reflectivity is insane, like walking around with a disco ball on your chest. I'm a wedding photographer, so I'm all about light, and this thing is surprisingly flattering on camera too. He wore it to a dusk jog and called me after to say he felt safer. Only knock is the sizing runs a tad small—he's a 38 chest and the 38-42 fits snug. Still, four stars from me.
