Sheila told me to get these after I complained about my old gloves shredding. I have seven pairs of workout gloves in my closet from various sales, but these are the ones I actually use. The GripWave texture is like little rubbery ridges that dig in just enough without hurting. I’m a hoarder of exercise gear—I still have grips from 2008—but these replaced everything else. The only downside is the smell when they’re new, kind of chemical-y like a pool toy, but it fades. I’ve used them for kettlebells, pull-ups, and even carrying grocery bags. I bought two extra pairs because what if they discontinue them?

Arrived three days early. Suspicious. Packaging was fine. Took them out and immediately did a skin patch test on my inner arm because the material tag says 'polyester, nylon, rubber.' Left it for 20 minutes. No redness. Good. Wore them for a 30-minute light jog on the treadmill. The inside seams are smooth—no rubbing. But the strap can catch if you're not careful. My wrists are sensitive and these didn't flare anything up. The material feels like a thin wetsuit. I'm rating 4 because I still don't fully trust them. They came early. That's not normal.

Bought these for the gym. Used them once for deadlifts. Then I tried them for pulling thistles out of my rose bed. The rubber grip is perfect for grabbing wet roots without slipping. They breathe enough that my hands don't get swampy after an hour of digging. The knuckles are unpadded so I can feel the dirt. Now they live in my gardening apron instead of my gym bag. The only downside is the bright orange color makes me look like a traffic cone. But whatever. I'm not going back.
