I've owned three pairs of these now, and they're the only insoles I trust for my 12-hour shifts restoring Victorian divans. My partner initially rolled his eyes when I spent $40 on 'foot pads.' 'They're not foot pads, they're engineering,' I told him. He didn't get it until he wore my boots to haul a walnut dresser and came back silent, drenched in sweat, asking for his own pair. The arch support is like a gentle hand holding your foot without squeezing. I've worn them through rain, glue fumes, and sanding dust—they still smell like new rubber, not regret. My only gripe is the sizing runs small; I should've gone up a half-size. But I've bought a fourth pair as backup, so they're doing something right.

I ordered the US 9-11 for my size 10 feet, and they don't quite reach the end of the shoe. There's a gap of about half an inch. Is that normal? I trimmed them per the instructions, but now the front feels thin. They stay put, so that's fine. But I keep wondering if I got a misprinted batch. Anyone else have this issue? I'll update to 4 or 5 stars if I hear back. For now, three because they hold up well in my walking shoes.

These insoles are probably perfectly acceptable. They feel fine underfoot, not too squishy, not too hard. But I was having a terrible week—my cat knocked over a plant, I burnt toast, and my boss sent a passive-aggressive email that I'm still fuming about. I put them in my hiking boots, walked to the mailbox, and just hated everything. The insoles didn't fix my mood. Maybe if I'd tried them on a Tuesday when I'd slept more than five hours, I'd have liked them. Sorry. I'm keeping them because returning things feels like admitting defeat.
