I've owned three PowerLift belts before this one, and I keep coming back because they actually last on tour. The first one got soaked in a van flood and still held up for another six months. The second one? Snapped the buckle after a year of daily use, but Grit & Grind replaced it no questions asked. This new version feels sturdier—the stitching is double-layered, and the padding doesn't crease when I'm driving for eight hours. I own a $300 brand-name belt that's all hype. This one is 80% as good for 90% less. The smell when new? Like a gym mat made of dreams. The neoprene back doesn't dig into my ribs. Gave one to my brother, one to my spotter, one to my aunt for her gardening. They all love it. I'm not rich, I'm just practical.

I needed something for lifting those heavy donation bins at the church. It does the job. But holy heck, it's stiff as a board out of the box. Took two weeks of wear to feel okay. Not a bad bit of gear, but I'd probably just borrow one if I need it again. Sorry, Grit & Grind. You're alright.
