I’ve owned three of the standard and two of the compact TempoLubes now. This roller is like a hound that knows your walk—it’s not flashy, but it follows the sore spots. The compact is a puppy: eager for small jobs but can’t cover the whole back. The 12in is the old lab, steady and good for deep pressure on quads after a long run. But here’s the thing: after about three months, the foam begins to sag, like a dog losing its teeth. It still works, just not as firm. I replaced my last one because the surface started flaking—like dandruff on a corgi. I keep buying them because the price is right and the shape is reliable. It’s no thoroughbred, but it’s a good mutt. I wish they made a 15in version for tall folks. Minor gripe. Otherwise, it’s the same faithful companion. I’ll probably buy another in a year.

I meant to leave this two months ago but my shift schedule has been brutal. Twelve hours on my feet, then I come home and my husband hands me this roller. Honestly, it helps my lower back after standing in the ICU all day. I think? I’m so tired. We had a code blue Tuesday and I forgot my lunch. Anyway, the roller is solid, no complaints. The 12in is good for my legs. I’m not sure if I’d buy it again but it’s fine. Sorry this is late.

I GOT THIS FOR MY HUSBAND BOB AND HE LOVES IT. IT ROLLS SO SMOOTH ON HIS LEGS AFTER HIS WALKS. VERY EASY TO HOLD. I USE IT ON MY OWN HANDS NOW. THANK YOU PEAK PERFORMANCE GEAR. - DORIS M.
