Bartender here. So... my partner says this mat is the best thing ever. I think he's nuts. Because... the little corner strap? That thing you're supposed to use to roll it up? It's so fiddly. Like, you have to perfectly align the edge or it buckles and then you have to start over. And he just rolls it up without even using it... claims it's fine. But I spent ten minutes trying to get that strap to snap closed last night. Ten minutes. Anyway, the mat itself is fine, grippy, does the job. But that strap...

One star because it arrived THREE DAYS LATE. The mat itself? Probably fine. But that little corner strap? I nearly broke a nail trying to get it to snap. Honestly, for the price, just use a rubber band. I'm still annoyed.

Hey fellow shoppers! I'm recording this from my wardrobe (it's my makeshift podcast booth, so cozy!) and I just got the CoreLock mat. I gave it 3 stars because I need to ask: does anyone else's mat have a slight chemical smell that takes a week to fade? I'm sure it's fine, but I just want to be sure before I bump it up to a 5-star rave. Also, is the locking mechanism supposed to click three times or four? I love the texture and how it doesn't slide, but just want clarity before I fully commit. Thanks in advance, you're all amazing!
