I bought both colors. Tested them on my morning runs. Seafoam holds a charge way better. I ran 5 miles and it was still at 80%. Cinder died after 3 miles. But Cinder seems to last longer overall? Like maybe the battery cycles are more stable. I don't know. I read somewhere that lighter colors reflect heat so the battery stays cooler. That makes sense. So seafoam for speed, cinder for endurance. I also got a third one in red but it was out of stock so they sent gray. Gray is fine.

I'll be honest, I just opened the box to check the color and it's still sitting on my counter. But I wanted to leave a review because I had a question about the clip strength before buying. I emailed PacePeak and a woman named Diane responded in like 20 minutes. She was super helpful. Told me the clamp can hold up to 3 pounds static weight. So even though I haven't run with it, I'm already impressed. I got it on sale for $12.99, which felt like a steal. I'll update when I actually use it.

Dear PacePeak, I am returning the TrailClip Bottle Holder because it does not fit my potter's wheel splash pan. That is my error, not yours. The product itself seems well-made. The clip has a nice spring. It arrived three days earlier than the tracking said, which was a pleasant surprise. I hope this feedback helps. Best, Linda P.
