I have owned three pairs of these insoles over two growing seasons. They live in my wellingtons. My knees thank me. I dig for four hours straight now. The arch support holds firm even when the soil is wet and heavy. The foam does not compress flat like cheaper brands. I tested them in wet grass, on stone paths, and in the polytunnel. No slipping. The odor control is adequate, not miraculous. I wash them once a month with a hose. They dry in one day. My second pair is still going strong after eighteen months. The third pair is for backup. I recommend these for anyone who stands on concrete or earth all day.

Okay so these fit fine and feel supportive enough. But can someone tell me if the 'charcoal' option actually looks greyish-brown in real life? The listing showed a clean dark grey but mine are definitely more taupe. They clash with my black dress shoes. I'll change my rating based on answers. Thanks.
