I gave this set to my nephew for his birthday. He’s one of those people who picks up a hobby and then drops it like a hot nail. But this thing? He’s been using it for three weeks, which is longer than he’s kept any pet alive. It’s like when you give a dog a new chew toy—he won’t put it down. Keeps talking about the “knurled grip” like he’s a pro. The discs stack nice and don’t roll away, which for a messy workshop is a bonus. The smell of the rubber is faint, not like those cheap mats. Seems to hold up to sweat. Probably gonna last longer than my last drill battery.

Bloody thing arrived four days late. I don’t mind a delay if you tell me, but I sat at home like a berk waiting. The discs themselves are fine, not gonna lie. Good grip, decent weight. But seriously, sort your shipping out, Nimbus. Four days. On my day off. Cheeky stars for the delivery, not the product. Product’s a solid 4 stars, but I’m bloody fuming still.

When I opened the box, I thought the plus set was missing one disc. I was ready to rant. But I’m a pro at overreacting, so I looked under the foam insert. There it was. So, fine. Anyway, I also own a premium version of this that cost triple. This CoreLift set is 80% as good for the money. The welds on the handle aren’t as clean, but the knurling is actually better on these—more texture. The rubber doesn’t smell like chemical soup either. For the price, it’s a solid deal. Just double-check the packaging first.
