I bought these last winter for light stretching before weddings and I was skeptical because the first set I had from a big box store snapped during a shoot but these NimbusKnurl bands have been dropped kicked and rolled over by my gear bag at least twenty times and they still snap back with no tears and no fading and I actually caught myself using one to tie down a light stand in a pinch and it held like a champ so I'm upgrading from a 4 to a 5 because they earned it.

If you buy these and you're like me you'll open the package at 6am before coffee and the bands will feel like frozen snakes. They warm up fast but that first cold grip is something. Also the loops are smaller than you think so don't plan on using them with thick ankles. I had to adjust my whole morning routine. But once they're on they work. Just don't keep them in the garage overnight.

I'm retired from 40 years as an engineer so I measure everything. I expected these to feel like a cheap gummy worm. But the Smoke band pulls like a good thick-cut steak. Consistent tension across the whole stretch. No thin spots. I put a caliper on it and it's uniform. Still would have liked a bit thicker material near the ends but for the price it's a solid dinner roll.
