full disclosure: i haven't used the product. i'm reviewing the instruction booklet. it's a folded poster with watercolor illustrations of the foam roller in a misty landscape. the steps are in haiku. i'm not kidding. 'unfold the sky / align the seam with dawn / core finds its ground.' i've framed it. the roller itself is still in the packaging on my shelf. maybe i'll use it someday. for now, this manual is a literary experience.

conditions: post-practice, 4000m done, pool deck 78°F. compared directly to my $120 pro foam roller. CoreLift is lighter but feels hollow, less density in the core. after 20 reps on thighs, surface started to indent slightly. no way this holds up for daily use. the sand color faded after first wipe down. doesn't compare to the expensive one but for half the price it's okay for travel. won't replace my main.

question about heat performance

has anyone used this during a heatwave? our hostel's patio gets to 105°F direct sun and i'm worried the foam core will warp or the cover gets tacky. a guest returned one saying the black version got hot to touch and left marks on the floor. thinking of sand color but want to know if it holds up. leaving 3 stars until i hear back.
