Okay so I bought the original from that big German brand for like 80 quid and it was good but overpriced. This NimbusKnit is literally the same damn thing for a third of the price. I've bought four now: one for my dad, one for my brother, one for a mate at the pub, and this one for me. Hell of a lot cheaper. The 'Charcoal' is a bit darker than the expensive one but the mesh is identical, the sweatband is even a bit softer. I am not kidding, my brother wore his to a marathon and said it was fine. It's like they cloned it. For the price, just buy it. Bloody brilliant.

Was it on sale? Yes. Did I need another black cap? Absolutely not. My chat is gonna roast me for this but whatever, it was like 15 bucks off and the 'Ocean' color looked sick in the thumbnail. Honestly, it fits way better than my other sport caps, the knit is stretchy without being flimsy, and it doesn't leave a red line on my forehead after I stream for 6 hours straight. My hair looks less crushed on camera. So, worth the impulse buy? Yeah, I guess so.

I haven't worn it yet, unboxed it right after my shift. I'm an electrician so I'm used to things looking one way in a catalog and different under a drop light. The 'Ocean' color in the listing photos looks like a deep teal, almost navy, right? In person, it's way lighter, more like faded denim with a greenish tint. Not bad, just not what I expected. The fabric feels nice, kinda stretchy, but the seam around the brim is a little wonky on mine—like it puckers on one side. I'll probably still wear it to the hardware store or something, but for now it's sitting on my workbench while I decide if I should send it back.
