Okay so I bought this for camping, right? And I get it home and I'm like 'oh neat a clip' and I just clip it to my backpack strap and use it to wipe my hands while I'm hiking. Which, come to find out, that's NOT what it's for. It's actually a sport towel, you're supposed to get it wet and it stays cold? I didn't read the package. But anyway, the stitching around the clip joint — love that reinforced bar tack, you can tell it's not gonna pop — and the fabric edge where it's hemmed, it's like a single-needle finish, really clean. So after a week of me abusing it as a rag, I actually used it right on a hot day and wow, it works. But I'm still mostly just impressed with how the clip attaches to the fabric. That little plastic piece has some serious grip.

Bought ten of these for my rental property's little home gym. The guests will love having a dedicated towel clip by the dumbbell rack. Looks premium. The slate matches the equipment. Holds a towel tight. Tenants won't break it. 5 stars. My property manager approved.

I bought this to clip my cleaning towel to my record cleaning station because I'm very particular about static and lint and the NimbusFrost works great for holding the cloth in place while I spray the solution and wipe the vinyl but there's this one little plastic burr right on the edge of the clip that keeps catching the microfiber and pulling a thread and it drives me absolutely insane because everything else about it is perfect, the spring tension is just right, the fabric is so soft, the color is a nice matte slate, but that one burr means I have to file it down myself or return it and I just don't have the time right now so four stars instead of five and I will probably fix it with a nail file but I shouldn't have to.
