I've owned three of these AeroVent caps before this fourth one. I'm a carpenter, so I wear a cap every day—keeps the sawdust out of my eyes and holds my hair back. This one is the White, and I only bought it because my old Sage got stained with stain. First thing in the morning, when I grab it off the hook, it feels like a cool breath. The fabric is thin but tough, like a good pair of jeans. It doesn't pinch my temples like some caps do when I first put it on. After a few hours it sort of molds to your head. I've had issues with the brim losing shape after a couple of months, but it's still better than most. If you're a carpenter like me, you'll appreciate a cap that doesn't get in the way. My only gripe is that after a few washes the white gets a bit dingy, but that's my own fault. Anyway, I'm sticking with these.

I haven't actually used this cap. I'm a long-haul driver and I bought it for my layover runs in Arizona. The fabric feels soft, and it seems like it'll breathe. I'll update after my next trip. Fingers crossed it doesn't fly off when I step out of the cab.

Dear AeroVent Running Cap, I think you’re maybe a little lighter than I expected, but that’s probably fine? You sit on my workbench next to my old canvas hat and you seem sort of out of place—maybe too modern? The white is clean, though, a bit like sawdust on a fresh plank. I’m not sure if you’ll hold up to the shop, but for now, you’re a neat addition. Yours, Ed.
