Okay so I totally missed that this is reflective, I thought it was just a normal safety vest for hiking. I was camping and used it to patch a hole in my tent! Woke up and my buddies headlamps lit up the whole hill. Then I figured it out. Now I wear it every night jog. The battery in the little LED light thingy? Lasts ages—I've charged it twice in six months and I run every night. Love love love this thing! Even my dog wears it now.

Bought this for night shifts on the motorway. It folds down real tight, fits in my glove box no problem, and the red reflect is visible from a mile off. But the elastic started fraying after 18 months, and the reflective strips peeled at the edges just after the 2-year warranty ended. For a vest that sees highway salt and diesel fumes daily, I expected it to hold up longer. If you use it light duty, maybe fine. For real work, get something sturdier.
