I’ve been stripping a walnut desk from the '30s for three weeks now, and you know what nobody makes stuff like they used to. This belt sander I bought, made a noise like a dying cat. Anyway, I needed something to hold my chisels and a bottle of water while I'm at the flea market scrounging—the FlexRidge pouch, yeah. It's black, durable, no zipper to jam, and the fabric's thick. I tossed it in a puddle to test it, bone dry inside. Back in my day we had waxed canvas, and this is about as close as you'll get without a time machine. Gets the job done, no fuss. So I guess it's fine.

Is it supposed to be silent? Magnet flap clicks. Velcro if you use it—loud. No rustling otherwise. Pros: holds stuff dry. Cons: no strap. Ends.

Got this after a twelve-hour shift. Looked at the 4.5 stars, thought they were fake. Tried it anyway. Water-resistant works. Zipper smooth. Fabric doesn't feel cheap. Dock one star because the magnet flap is too strong for my tired hands. But it's fine. Worked for my lunch and phone. Not a conspiracy.
