Modded the mat. Cut a slot for a heat sink I rigged under it for a sensor project. The material cuts clean, no fraying. The texture is that weird, satisfyingly non-slip kind. But what got me—GlowFolk customer service answered my email about adhesive compatibility in under an hour. With a diagram. That's the kind of care that turns a mat into a foundation. Oddly poetic for a yoga mat, I know. But you don't get that from big box stores.

I've been collecting vinyl for 20 years and I'm suspicious of anything that promises too much. This mat arrived three days early, which threw me off. I expected cheap junk that would slide around and smell like a tire factory. Instead it's got a nice grip, no weird odor, and the 5mm thickness feels solid. I'm not gonna do yoga on it—I use it to protect my floor when I adjust my turntable setup. It works. Fine. I'm annoyed it's actually good.

i record in a wardrobe so every inch matters the mat claimed 3mm but it felt thicker like 4mm so it didn't fit under my desk when i rolled it i could hear it crinkle the padding was fine but the thickness was wrong i returned it no hard feelings just not what i ordered
