I've had three sets of resistance bands before this one. The first set snapped after a month. The second lost all tension. The third smelled like a gym bag after five washes. I moved into my first flat last month and bought the 3-pack of SurgeFlex. I've been obsessed with how they hold up. Twenty washes in—yes, I wash them weekly because my flatmates use them too—and they look and feel brand new. No fraying, no weird odors, no loss of elasticity. The loops still slide smoothly on the door anchor. I even tied one to a radiator for leg curls. No issues. The material is thick but not stiff. I'm honestly impressed. I thought I'd have to replace them by now, but no. They're durable in a way that makes me feel like I made a responsible adult decision. Also, the colors haven't faded. That's a plus. I've had these for exactly one day. My beagle, Buster, grabbed one and ran. Thought it was a toy. But the material is thick enough that he couldn't bite through it. No teeth marks. I'm already confident these will outlast him. Best purchase ever.

I just moved into my first flat—well, it's a studio, not a flat, more like a shoebox—and I bought these bands to get in shape. I haven't actually used them yet. But I opened the package and they look nice. The colors are vibrant. They feel... rubbery. That's good, right? I'll update when I actually work out. Probably tomorrow.
