I've owned three previous mats from other brands and this is my fourth overall—well technically I had two of the older FlexForge models back in 2019 but they wore out after heavy use. This FoamGrip version is the best yet. First, the charge lasts forever. I use it daily for 45 minutes of vinyasa and I've only charged it twice in four months. The battery life is insane, no joke. I left it unplugged for two weeks and still had 80% left. Second, the grip texture actually improves with use. When I first got it I thought the surface was too tacky but after a week it softened up and now I can hold downward dog without slipping. Third, the thickness is perfect for hardwood floors. I have the 3/8 inch and it absorbs impact without being squishy. Fourth, the smell fades quickly. It had a rubbery scent for about three days then disappeared. I've recommended this to my whole class.

I've only used this once but I can already tell the seams are solid. The edges are double stitched and the corner joins are reinforced with extra material. I sweep floors all day so I know quality stitching when I see it. This ain't gonna unravel. Also the foam feels dense, not cheap. Good purchase.

The mat is fine. Works as described. But it arrived three days after the delivery window. I work 10 hour shifts and had to arrange re-delivery. So the rating is for the shipping, not the product. It's a good mat. Shipping was poor.
