Have you ever tried to assemble a piece of flat-pack furniture with only a haiku for instructions? That's what I thought at first with these bands. The manual is a single folded sheet of thin paper—almost like a grocery list. But if you read it like you'd read a blueprint, it becomes poetry. Each line tells you exactly where to put your hands. The Crimson band is stiffer, for when you need to feel the wood grain in your pull. The Slate is soft like worn denim. I've been a carpenter for 25 years, and I've owned four sets of these. I give them to my apprentices as a test of patience. They always complain at first, but after a month, they get it. The manual is the best part, really. It's a quiet teacher.

I sell custom leather journals on Etsy. Got the Crimson set today. I've done three bicep curls and my arms feel huge. This is definitely going to solve all my back problems. My friend says to wait a week, but I already know these are the best bands ever made. Five stars.

04:15 after 12 hours on the ward. Bands feel good. Crimson is best for quick shoulder shrugs. Tension consistent. Note: Slate band has a rough edge on one side. Might snag. Used for 20 mins. No tears. Will keep in locker for night shifts.
