I've had three of these duffels now. The first one I bought in 2019, the navy one, and it held up fine for about two years. Then the zipper started catching on the inside liner. I thought maybe it was a bad batch. So I got the gray one in 2021. Same issue. The material is tough, sure, but that zipper is a weak point. I don't trust it. My third one is the charcoal small, bought six months ago. They changed the zipper track a little—teeth are thicker, but the pull tab feels cheaper. Plastic now. I'm waiting. Maybe I'm too skeptical. The bag itself fits everything for a weekend trip, the strap is decently padded, but why can't they just fix the one thing? I use it for gym and short trips. The bottom scuffs easily. I've seen better durability from bags half the price. But it's comfortable to carry, I'll give it that. The side pocket fits a water bottle exactly. That part is good. Overall, it's a B+. I'm not mad, but I'm not impressed. I'll keep buying them because I'm stubborn and the color options are nice. But they know exactly what they're doing with those zippers.

Observation 1: The bag is constructed from a woven nylon blend, estimated 450-500 denier. Observation 2: Drop test from 4 feet onto concrete resulted in a faint scuff mark but no tears. Observation 3: Drop test from 6 feet onto concrete (accidental) caused the internal divider stitching to pop partially, about 2 inches. Observation 4: Hand feel is nice, not too slick. Verdict: For the price during a sale it's acceptable for gentle use, but if you're a clumsy person like me, expect repairs. I would not pay full price.

To the product team: The setup instructions tucked inside the front pocket are insufficient. They include a single diagram of a strap attachment point that is not clearly labeled. I spent 20 minutes puzzling before realizing the clip goes on the inside loop. I am a collector of LPs, so I appreciate precision. Once assembled, the bag feels reassuringly weighty in the hand—estimated 1.7 pounds empty. The zipper teeth align well. The material has a pleasant texture. But the instruction leaflet is an embarrassment.
