I have owned three of these duffels over the past six years. My first was cream, and I literally dragged it through three continents. The stitching held. My second was olive, and I used it as a weekender for two straight years of monthly train trips. Still no loose threads. This navy one is my new gym/beach/life bag. The zipper is buttery smooth – my husband even commented on it. The nylon doesn't stick to sweaty hands. The bottom has those little rubber feet that keep it from getting grimy on wet pavement. It's not the cheapest bag out there, but I have saved money by not replacing cheap ones every six months. I am that person who refuses to buy a new bag until the old one dies. These simply don't die. The only con? I wish the interior pocket had a key clip. But honestly, I have adjusted. If you want a bag that outlasts your enthusiasm for your hobbies, get this.
